Just saw this post, went back and looked at the first one and was horrified and disgusted by dolly's original condition...
She looks like a new dog now... Its gives me that thick teary feeling in my throat to see the difference and know that this animal will go to a forever home with a new lease on life. I cannot believe how skinny she was when you got her... She looked worse than some of the dogs I've seen on TV and such who have lived through hurricanes etc with no food/shelter. And her FUR! she actually has some now!
I am continually amazed that dogs can be so sweet and gentle after the cruely they suffer from some uncaring humans... It makes me want to rescue dogs myself and help them find forever homes.
This area (Eastern Ontario and close to Western Quebec) is HORRIBLE for mills and BYB's.... I really hope that the cruelty will be stopped by changes in laws and funding to cruelty prevention groups/agencies... because there are enough dogs and other animals (reptiles, birds too... you would not believe how many lizards, snakes and various parrots/parakeets are bred for cash and neglected or left to die of cureable illnesses in thier new homes because people do not understand how to care for them! And don't even get me started on 'designer dog' breeders....
Anyway, my point is that Dolly is a very lucky little BT indeed and I just know that your time and kindness will allow her to have a chance at a good life! |

| Thank you and yes, she was quite pitiful at first. She has made such remarkable progress with regular feedings and medical care, no big to do or complicated care, just simple things that you or I do everyday for our dogs. It is so sad what these creatures of God suffer at the hands of humans, won't go there today. It is wonderful to see her better. |

| What a gorgeous baby she is!!! And what a wonderful job you've done. Someone will be extremely lucky indeed to have her join their family. |
