| I would say that Fireball and Tilly both may be xolos from the photos. What a couple of cutie pies. It does look like they both are in a good shelters with good adoption programs at least. |

too bad we can't see more of his body, but i agree. i thought his legs and head looked more xolo-ish.
both of the websites for the two dogs were a little mum on whether they are kill shelters. i did find that the shelter for fireball does euthanize. i did not see on the site for tilly that they do, so not sure about that one. ideally they will both be out of there soon! |

Have you been in contact with the shelters yet? Someone really should at least suggest that they cross post to the xolo section as well. As we well know, aren't the same breeds.... someone looking for a crestie may not be interested while someone looking for a xolo pup may.... either way they don't look all crestie that is for sure and that would make for a better informed adoption at least.
The shelter personnel sometimes get offended when offered this info, but....  |

Agreed. I'll send the link to the Xolo Rescue league.
They're definately not cresteds, but the second boy could be a crested cross. Either way, I'm sure a person looking for the Xolo look would love these boys. |

That heads up was for YOU.... if you were inquiring for your rescue group. Shell, it has nothing to do with the "look". People looking to adopt a young crestie may find they are not adopting one at all.... |

Unlike you and I who don't give a rat's patootie.... and will deal with whatever the pup is..... I guess I hate seeing people who THINK they bought or adopted a certain breed end up with something which totally is not to their expectations and preparations.... temperment, size, etc... and we see the pup looking for another home. I guess that is what I care about 
I have to say I am still mindboggled over the Palm Springs shelter stating the very hairy hairless dog they have is a xolo! 
Hopefully they will all screen well and feel good about the adoption/adopter, or the pups will end up in a rescue who will..... |

I just got an email back from Shannon saying:
"working on it thanks  We can take them in but need to find someone to pull so we can transport. "
So lets cross our finger's someone can get them the jail break and then they can get into their foster home's quick. |

| I do hope they get adopted readily and not farmed out to rescue given the dearth of foster homes... and pups truly in need. That being said, having their rescue go as backup and with whatever paperwork they need to provide is always a good idea! And will help the next nekkie pup that lands in their shelter. |

| They're still in the shelter and Shannon has found someone to pull them as long as the shelter will allows it. Of course it would be better if they were adopted out instead, but I think they really need to get out of there. |
