Bamse and I have been training to come on command. He comes running now, but that is inside or when he is on a leash. And he does not stay for long... Any tips on how I can make him stay with me? And not run as soon as he has his feet planted next to me?

teach him to sit or stay, where sit means sit and STAY! and stay just means stay in the position you are in now (maybe he knows this already, that would be easy)

Then teach him "come here" means: 'come and sit or stay!'

Make yourself the most fun thing to be around, so have his favorite toy with you or the most delicious food Wink That'll keep him from running off!
