Congratulations Jackie! They are gorgeous little ones! You brought Manny through some rough spots, so I know these babies will be fine under your care! As I said before, someday a puff girl will find her way to me.... I loved looking at the pictures of your last set of babies, too - so beautiful! - Shirley |

Aww...once again I find myself saying I wish I lived closer to you! I would surely come over and stay up with you alternating feedings. They are so precious, and I'm so glad to hear they are continuing to thrive. |

How exciting! Love the colors in this group. They are just going to be stunning! Good job Abby and McDreamy! I'll tell Torie she has some new siblings. |

This update is so hard to write -- I tried so hard to stay on top of these little guys. Just to give you a feel for how small they are, the birth weight of the smallest one (the black girl) was 2.4 ounces. The next day, she dropped to 2.1. I tube fed her and the little male while the other two did well eating on their own. The little black girl got up to 2.2 before she died. I then noticed that one of her legs wasn't formed properly, so it may have been a blessing. I don't think she could have moved her right knee properly. Then the little boy started to fail. He got up to 3.2 ounces, but then started declining and stayed like that until he died on Sunday afternoon. For the life of me, I don't know what I could have done better with him. I continued the tube feeding with him and although he was maintaining his weight, I noticed that Abby (his mom) pushed him to the side sometimes. He may have gotten a chill during one of these times. Other than that, I honestly don't know why he didn't make it.
Sorry to report this bad news. Believe me, I've been sick over it (especially the little male since he almost made it a whole week). I can report today that the little white female is 4.4 ounces and the big black female is 6.6 ounces. And they are eating well on their own with no help from me. |

I am so sorry to hear this Jackie. You did everything you could for these little sweeties....mother nature had something else in mind. My heart is breaking for you, as I know how much you loved them. I am happy to hear that the two other girls are doing well. (((Jackie))) |

I am soooo very sorry for the loss of the two little ones. They're angels watching over their sisters now.
You did all you could. It was just the way it was meant to be, sadly. |

Oh my what a terrible time you have had recently . I am sure that I can't begin to imagine the hurt and worry that you have suffered through recently, but do know that you and those babes that you lost are in my thoughts.
RIP little ones and to you Jackie

Awww Jackie, I'm sooooo sorry to hear that two of the little ones passed to the Rainbow Bridge.
I've heard what a wonderful doggie momma you are and I think we can all read your pain in the post. Someone who gets up every couple of hours to feed newborn puppies gets many warm hugs from me. My heart goes out to you!!! |

| You've probably heard that animal moms know sometimes when a baby's not viable, Abby may have sensed something wrong in the litlle male, never know. I'm sorry for your loss, cannot imagine it. Hope your other babies are growing well. |
