They are use for sleigh tour for the tourists that come from as far as France to haave a taste of our winter.When the season is over ,they have toomany dogs to feed and let them starve  |

Poor dogs but at least these will have a better life. We will just see it happen again next year. Hard to imagine why no one seems to feel this is wrong and should be charged or fined.
We see it here as well though a bit differently. Dogs are used to protect flocks and then in the winter left to starve outside without any human help from their "owners". If the dog finds its way home again, it is often shot. It appears to reduce costs when the flocks are brought in, no need to feed the dogs that protected them. Then next year, they just go buy or bred another dog. Such a humane cycle. |
