| I am so proud of these girls. I go to agility training once a week (weather permitting) and when I tweaked my knee some months back it was a problem. Well the woman who owns the place where class is held has her 12 and 14 year old grand-daughters here and told me they would work my dogs, so bring two. Last week I could only bring Natalie, but she did well with the girls handling her. Yesterday I took Natalie and Teresa. I did have to hide so the dogs didn't see me, but they did terrific, paid attention to the girls, even some new forms of eqpt (a new very different hoop was there). The girls were great as well (they live on a ranch and show their cows etc). And it is so much fun to be able to see your dogs doing the things you can't see when they are right there with you. Good girls!! They got extra for dinner last night (and they were exhausted). |

| Awww, I bet you were proud! It's so great that they have the opportunity to do agility and that was very kind of the owner and her grand-daughters to help out. |

| It certainly does a heart good to be able to see your wee ones in action. What a lovely offer by the owner of the place. I hope your knee is feeling a bit better hun. |

| I believe I did age to my knee. When the pain started I was walking across my flat livingroom floor. I was in some bigtime pain, but xrays only showed some arthritis, I did some PT, and fingers crossed seem to be fine now. But, agility seems to have a knack of getting a twinge back so I try to only do limited stuff there. |

I have had very good results with glucosamine, in myself (have an arthritic hip) and also in dogs. Yoda, Louie's sire, was arthritic in his later years but did very well once I started giving him glucosamine regularly. Myself, I was practically crippled and couldn't get out of a chair without a cane. Six months of glucosamine and yoga was all it took, and nine years later I am still dancing |

I agree! When I'm walking the dogs with a friend I'll have her walk them so I can watch....
Good girls! Proud momma means extra treats. |

And yesterday I went down to our Old Town to look for some little gifts for the Grand-girls as a little thank you. 12 and 14 year olds who are so pleasant to be around and helpful deserve encouragement. Ultimately I got them each a Crestie item . Because I know they weren't sure at first, but soon the Crestie charm started to hook 'em. One got a magnet that has the head of a Crestie, the other got a little Crestie statue. And, while I was in the store (Reigning Cats and Dogs) the shop owner started asking me about Crestie's and it looks like I might be able to head her toward a Crestie rescue that would come to work with her! I didn't have any dogs with me at the time but will take Teresa and Natalie for a visit after the 4th of July weekend is over. |

Sounds like the girls enjoyed themselves together - all four!! And you are so right being able to see your dogs work is great. Makes you appreciate all their accomplishments
Hope the knee stays well and good work on helping a little rescue find a home |
