Well, Zaz is almost 11 months now, so he had his first "proper" group lesson last night. I'm so proud of him, he was a little star.

I've been doing little bits with him, teaching his his 2o 2offs, jumps and tunnels, but for the first time last night he had to string together jumping sequences and the DW and AF, although on reduced height and angle.

He was awesome! A little distracted when Finn the buhund arrived, and a little wide on some box corners, but he was up for it, quick for the level pf experience and focussed, and went straight into contact position on the DW. And all that was consistent, not just one fluky time!

The AF isn't quite so precise, but he is running down it and not attempting to jump off. As he gains experience, his 2o2o position will become an early release so that he runs down and keeps going, rather than stopping and wasting time, so I don't want to be too prescriptive, but its coming together nicely.

There were four other dogs working in the class, including his sister Angel Spaniel, and apart from Finn he wasn't bothered by them.

I'm so pleased with him, I think I am going to start his 2x2 weaves next week. Will try to get some photos next week, so you can see the little man in action.

Yay! Agility career, here we come!
