Our irises bloomed beautifully this year and we have now split them with about 8 new ones for next year. I thought I would share some pics. This is proof that things do actually grow here from time to time!

Oh thanks DE. An Iris is just so regal and delicate at the same time, I just love them. They even know what colors go together well - I love the blue and yellow mix.....love those shades!!!

I love Iris's. My Grandfather used to call them Flags.

That blue and yellow one is beautiful.

I can't pick a favorite. When they are in full bloom, they all look so glorious! But I am partial to the blue and yellow myself.
