My favorite chapter of all Davyde!! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story with us all....you are a fantastic writer/story teller.

I have laughed and cried, you truly kept me on the edge of my seat. This was a superb ending to a fantastic story, thankyou so much for keeping us entertained
This bit was the clicncher for me, you nailed it perfectly....

99% of this story (and we do still have a couple of epilogues to go) has been about fun. It was written to amuse, but there are a few times I have put my own soapboxes in there.
And this time I wanted to show that Bumble was Ben's equal in her own way. |

Just out of interest: Had anyone guessed that the Mayor was Big Al?
I've never written a story like this before and had no idea if that was too obvious, or too obscure once Ben laid out his reasoning. |

No, I hadn't guessed.
The sweet spot on that is there are enough clues that the reader COULD guess, but most readers won't actually put all the clues together, and I think you got that.
