I just heard about this site and thought I would stop by. I got my 'dream dog' early this year - Queen is a white powderpuff and my little foo-foo dog ! All my hunting friends are shocked that I own such a little foo-foo but I tell them she is my baby. LOL I relax by grooming her with a daily brushing with Ice on Ice conditioner and every Friday is our major grooming day. She goes into the shower with me for a bath with White on white shampoo; rinse out conditioner and then finishing with Silk conditioner that is left in. Then on to the blow drying (again, with Ice on Ice) and then clipping of face and ears.
Queen will eventually get her CGC so she can go to work with me and then we will go on to Rally and obedience. She adores my black Lab, General, and plays retrieve with him. Whatever he is bringing back to me you can be sure she will be hanging on it too! LOL She also loves to race around the big backyard with my little MS Dachshund bitch, Princess.

This is a great place to find information on Cresteds!! Very friendly and supportive folks here with TONS of knowledge! I spent lots of time reading through old threads and learning like crazy before I even got my first Crestie! Enjoy!

I have been browsing through the posts on the various boards. And once I get some pictures of Queen loaded on the computer, I will post a few.
Just thought I would say, the reason she is my dream dog is because, when I was running a beagle show kennel/boarding kennel in FL a number of years ago, I met some CCs.
The woman who owned the kennel boarded some CCs for a friend and I fell in love with her PPs! I swore one day I would have a white PP girl! it is wonderful to be able to fulfill a dream! |

Welcome. It's no surprise that you have fallen head over heels in love with a CC!
My friend's husband is a duck/pheasant hunter and has a Springer. He rolled his eyes when she adopted her cream puff boy. But within a few days, he was so smitten with him he was taking him w/ him at any excuse "going to gas up the car", "running something over to grandmas", etc. There's Tom in his big truck with little Boomer on his lap. She came out one morning and found him putting Boomers coat on, he had him laid on his back on the kitchen table, like you would when you change a baby's diaper
