Here are some photos of our time spent with Crusher in Huntsville, AL

First Crusher and the other furkids decided that they wanted to visit some of the "prettiest" spots in Huntsville...

At first, all the kids decided to get out and take a walk around the lake near our new home.

As you can see, Crusher and Finn got along quite well during the walk...

Crusher even managed to get fairly close to this lovely heron..

but scared him off shortly thereafter.

Next, we went to Hampton Cove to check out the waterfall there. Unfortunately, Gabs and Finn aren't allowed there, but we snuck Crusher over the fence to take a peak...

The next day, Crusher and I decided to go look at downtown Huntsville...

Here is Crusher at the Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville.

and again at the Confederate monument next to the Courthouse...

and at the old bank...the canal/spring runs under the bank and courthouse and creates a netwok of caves that are several miles long.

Then we checked out some of the historic homes in the Twickenham district...

For more about the history of Huntsville, click here: http://www.hsvcity.com/about/huntsville_history.html

Finally, we checked out the spot that Huntsville is most famous for...

where the Saturn V project is located (this is a life-sized replica).

Inside one of the thrusters

The Davidson Center where the actual Saturn V is encased...my company did the sound, video, and audio for the facility...

Hope that you enjoy these pics...sorry for not getting them up (and for not getting Crusher on to his next destination) sooner. Things got so hectic here for a bit while we hosted him, and I got all caught up with that.

Lovely pics! It looks like Crusher was lucky enough to stumble upon a wood stork, or something similar. Very nice!

Great tour! Loved the waterfall and the wonderful old homes, and that stained glass window. Nice to see them preserved so well.

Crusher is a busy one in Alabama!

Thanks everyone...Crusher and I had a great time in Huntsville. It's kind of a sleepy "little" place, but we do have quite a few interesting spots as well.

Those are lovely pictures and of such a pretty place. The water shots are to die for in this 100 degree weather, just makes one seem cooler.
Thank you for the journey. Smile
