Hi guys, Lily here. Boy am I doing a happy happy dance tonight!!     I overheard my poppy tell my mommy that I needed a B-A-T-H  today. And well, I've been hanging around trying to be good and hide from mommy all day today. And guess what? It's night time and I don't do baths at night!!!! Poppy said mommy did a thing called TAXES today and ran out of time to B-A-T-H me. I don't know quite what TAXES are, but I know mommy had the supper table all covered up with stuff-not supper-just paper stuff all day long. But whatever they are I hope she does them more often  Hugs, Lily |

Lily, how great that you didn't have to have a B-A-T-H today! I hope your mom does TAXES more often, too! Do you think she was having fun? If she was, maybe she'll suggest it to my Mom, too!

Wow Lily, you are lucky!! If our Mom is busy, our Daddy gives us a B-A-T-H.  Man, how did you train your Dad to not give you a B-A-T-H? And our Mom said TAXES is a bad word.  Guess what else? My name is Lily too! |

Hey Lily, Lily here. The secret to the B-A-T-H with my poppy is my poppy is my mommies dad-we live with him and take care of him. So he is actually my grandpop-and grandpops don't do B-A-T-H time. Apparently they have a handbook-kinda like the crestie one that has good stuff in it-like they only give us cuddles, treats, walkies and shhh don't tell-but human table treats!!  "cause they are our grandparents!! And I got the feeling today that T-A-X-E-S must be worse than B-A-T-H 'cause my mommy was doing a lot of stuff she doesn't usually do-like giving poppy THAT tone when he came in to check on her. And they went out to dinner-on Sunday-and they NEVER do that. I know because I smelled good atrange FOOD smells on them-and poppy gave me CHICKEN. I just LOVE chicken-don't you??
And Addy, I don't think we better even think about my mommy suggesting to your mommy that she does taxes, do you??

Oh, I didn't know he was your Papa. Our Daddy is kinda old, and he is a Papa, but not ours. He says stuff like, "Oh my back is hurting, Bathing 8 dogs is rough, yada, yada, yada.... Mommy laughs cuz she cheats & gives us B-A-T-H's in the kitchen sink. Ssshhh, don't tell Daddy cuz he doesn't like her to do that. 
You & your Mommy are very sweet to live with your Poppy. I bet he is glad to have you with him. And we ALL love chicken! Yummy!

Lily, Lily here, and I think you and Tess and Kesha spell just fine-and you knows what? Spelling is over rated-why not spell it like it sounds? B-A-T-H-S in the kitchen sink?? We have a sink in mommies laundry room that was put there just to B-A-T-H-S doggies in-so my mommy and my poppy tells me. Why oh why I ask you would anyone do such a thing? Are they crazy?
Addy, I think you are right-we better not mention that T word to our mommies-it doesn't make my mommy very happy-and you know what they say-"If mommy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy"

Well shoot, I wish somebody would get some T-A-X-E-S for my mommy, because I just had a nasty old bath today. Now I'm all disgusting and fluffy and I smell like coconut, even though she knows that I prefer to smell like dead animals. Does she even care??
I'm glad you got a break, Lily. At least one of us is living another day dirty and comfortable.

Ming - you and me both got a bath today!!! And to make matters even worse, my mom SHAVED me again!!! Boy do I ever hate those days!!! She has one of those tubs in her laundry room too... I'm with Lily on this - who's great idea was THAT?? Hey Ming, Rocky and I were just talking about you guys... How did you make out in that dreadful storm Thursday? My nana and Grand Papa have been in Mesa for the past month and they said it was "odd" and "rare" for that area (whatever THAT means)!!! Is that why you needed a B-A-T-H??? They said something about a tornado and floods? What are those?

Rambo and Rocky,
Tornadoes are when the wind blows and blows and blows. Floods are when it rains so much that the streets get all full of rain! Sometimes there is so much that the rain goes into people's houses, too. Can you even imagine? How awful would that be, with rain in people's houses.
It was awful around here. We had rain, which I always hate. It was cold and rainy and windy, and I didn't like it one bit. There was even a tornado right by our house! Mommy's furnace blew out, and we were all cold. Mommy's friends who live far away laughed at her when she said it was cold, but we were cold, it was Below Sixty which is cold and wintry, right?
It's still chilly, but it isn't as windy. Mommy got her furnace lighted again, and we're warm again. Nobody got blown away in the wind, not even my brother Paco, the annoying chihuahua .

| Ming, Lily here. I agree-rain is almost the worst. The worst is the stuff mommy says is coming again-ICE. It is awful. Not only does it fall outta the sky-but it is COLD-like below 30 degrees, and it doesn't make it easy to stand up either. But on a lovely note-I STILL haven't had a bath!! Can you believe it-has mommy forgotten? I'm not gonna mention it to her and maybe she will just leave me alone-I am quite happy just the way I am. Hugs, Lily |

Maybe our moms need to talk. Mommy decreed that it is winter, so we have gone to "winter bath schedule"...which means every three weeks, instead of every week! of course, tho, every time that stupid rain happens, and I get all good and muddy feeted, then mommy washes them off before I can step on the floor inside.. |

I wish you'd get your mommy to talk to ours! We have a bath every week!  About the time we start smelling good from our last bath, Mommy & Daddy smell us then say, "Owweee! You are stinky, stinky!"  I think their noses are messed up. They don't like the smell of dead stuff, or poop.....any of the things we like.  Uh oh, guess what? Mommy just smelled me. Now she's taking our blankies & beds to the laundry room. I know what's next!
Here she comes! Gotta go hide!

I had a B-A-T-H last night! In the kitchen sink, like always.
It was awful. I hated it. And even though Mommy put the heat way up, I made sure to cuddle against her lots while I was still damp!
She said I needed the bath because today we're going to the nursing home, so maybe I'll get some nice treats. I can hope, right?

Lily, yes, I did have a great time at the nursing home! Two of my friends couldn't see me because they were On Medical Restriction, whatever that means, but most of my friends were doing great and so happy to see me! And I met new people, too!
And this morning I got to play with Josie and then walk with Duke.
Mom DID say that you have snow deeper than you are tall. That's awful! And that it's as cold where you are as it is here, and that's Unnatural, she says.
I hope you can keep putting off your bath!

omg!!!! you guys!!!! you ALL need to come by us ...it si warm here ,mostly all the time!
we have tons of space for everyone and green grass to roll around in.......we do get rin though but son it will be VERY HOT!!! come by us ok? the only downfall is that ur Momma gives us a bath every week ..in the laundry/dog sink but Momma cooks great food ......
Addy...we have MANY nursing homes here in Florida ...you could have your pick !
Ming...I just dont get why the girls like the fluffy look so much...? ..ah well

| Thanks for the invite Julius and Rocky. I wish my mommy would take you up on the offer. We have no grass, I don't think. I haven't seen anything but white everywhere for days, and DAYS!! And it is so cold-like below cold, colder than cold. I haven't been out of jammies all weekend and mommy hasn't been out of the house-which means no doggie bags for me .
