a few pics of our veggies and flowers. I've always only had the ability to have a patio garden. This is the first time I've had a real yard to work with. I was so excited!

Forgot what these were called:

Bachelor's Button:

Forgot what these were as well:

Flower from an Okra Plant:

Dahlia:

Tiny shrooms!

The favorite plant in my garden! My Passion Flowers!!

More beans than we can eat! 3 bags in the freezer already!

and the okra is growing faster than we can pick it!!

Wow, beautiful pictures. Aren't passion flowers great? They have such personality. My Dahlias are almost finished for the year, they are tired of the heat. Embarassed

Morag, I think it's a frogtopus surfing. You know those mixed breeds that are very athletic.

Great pics, Jeeper. That first one is not something I've seen here so I don't know it either.
I've said good bye to my flowers for the year. A few holdouts are hanging on but most of the summer ones are passe now. Sad

Oh yes, they're quite rare and very expensive, being a 'designer' type and all. Wonder if Jeeper knows what she's got there. Certainly newsworthy, wouldn't you say?

Most definately but I think we should give Jeeper a heads up before the hoards of reporters descend and mayhap scare the wee mite off. What says you?

Laughing Center of the flower sure does look like a mantis - never noticed that before! Unfortunately my beautiful Passifloras are done blooming for the season and have gone to fruit. I pulled a bunch of seeds, so I hope I can have even more plants next season!

Glad you all like my pics! I love taking flower pics and hope to get a macro lens soon for even closer up views!

Beautiful pics! The first one looks like some type of Orchid. The third one could be a Delphinium. Nice!!
