Never, ever, ever put your dogs beautiful reversible, red and black polar fleece coat in the laundry with your white flannel sheets.
I missed Casper's coat when I washed everything yesterday with our new Fragrance and Dye free laundry soap (that I searched 4 stores for). So as I was doing my bedding this morning, I grabbed it and tossed it in with the flannel sheets. When I pulled it out of the washing machine there was little white 'pills' all over it. I just tossed it in the dryer thinking they would come off with the lint. NOT! Now the coat is covered in little white specks. I went through 4 sticky layers of the lint roller and will still need to spend quite a bit of time with the tweezers picking them all off before I can put it on Casper to go for a walk with my head held up (and not hung in shame). |

Um... don't throw it in with the washable rugs from the bathroom either... or you pick off lil white hard specks of the rubber backing...
OH... and those lil specks stick nicely to black jeans... |

Putting knitted dog coats in with stuff with velcro fixings on, is'nt a good idea either. |

Hahaha Jean!!!! Had a little itch, did he?
I think we have all done something like the flannel sheets and the fleece coat. I know I have. Washing is a tricky business. |

So did I. I turned one of Phillips brand new white shirts, a very pretty shade of pink, when his red boxers snuck themselves in unnoticed. Who wears red boxers anyway. |
