Hi all,
question,
I am travelling to Miami- Orlando in May for my neeces wedding. I was wondering if I can travel with my two cc babies and maybe compete in one of you shows overthere. Do you know if that is possible?
What do i need to arrange? and do you have any tips for me on shows if it is possible?
grtz

| Hi Christine - It really depends on where you live if you can easily bring your babies here to the US with you. In order to show you would need to apply for an AKC number which is pretty easy as long as your registration is with an FCI recognized Kennel. It does take a while for them to process the paperwork. Go to the AKC website you can find information on how to go about it. Also infodog.com will tell you if there is going to be a show in Orlando or nearby whilel you are in the US. |

You can also compete on your foreign registration until your AKC numbers come in. If you win and get some points for them to actually go to your dog you will need to have the AKC number processed. Like Felissa said, you can do it online at akc.org . My Bebe came from France and she showed on her FCI number for her first month.
Let us know if you need help getting anything set up or finding shows. I know it can be confusing |

Oh I agree. And its fun to see how other countries' shows work and what their dogs look like.
It depends on the hotel.... some are very pet friendly and some won't allow them. Usually they will tell their policy online. La Quinta is usually very pet friendly and they are a chain all over america. Sometimes you have to pay a little extra to have your dogs with you. |

| Most of the bigger hotels in Orlando will not allow pets but I would think that some of the Chains like La Quinta, Howard Johnson's, Motel Six ect. might allow dogs with a pet fee. |
