| She's beautiful. I wish I could come and bask on your deck too! I love your back yard...all the big trees, it looks like you live in a jungle. |

| Been away for awhile and just came back on today and saw this thread....hlboyz she's just beautiful and to be an intermediate xolo with low prey drive-you sure lucked out. How wonderful your pack was so accepting of her and depsite all of her history she has been adjusting so well. No sign of perm ID or tattoos on her? |

She is stunning! Your dogs have it made, sunshine, palm trees.
You've got some lucky, lucky pups there, hlboyz.
Bless your heart for what you do for these dogs. |

I have to laugh because she is planted on my lap right now....for the first time at the PC all snuggly and with some big sighs going on too, it's sweet. She has been watching everyone else climb up and get their turn I guess:)
Nope, no ID altho she does have some history on the island and she had been a stray more than once from what I understand They sure can surprise us, can't they?! |

I kinda think hlboyz isn't going to go to a great deal of effort to list Xoli for adoption, don't you all? |

Oh Patti - you got that right! But it would be way too early anyway and I don't list dogs for adoption since I am not with a rescue group. Gosh, she is a happy wiggly butt! I hope she continues to like us BESTEST! And I do think she is HOME, she seems so well suited and bonded to the crew and to me. My offer to the HS upon her medical evaluation as there were some issues, cut/pasted from my email:

I realize you probably would prefer a forever home. Like most people
who do rescue, my goal is always to find a special place and special
people for their own forever home if possible. Sometimes that isn't
going to happen and I am sure she will do fine here either way. I
have an excellent vet which allows me to take in some pretty bad cases
with success. So, if you need someone to help, please do not hesitate
to ask and consider this a firm offer to be here for her if she needs
it. |
It is kind of hard to go into any situation committing to ONLY adopt when one does rescue. I just adore her but she has plenty of time and things to experience which may make a difference. I wouldn't say no if it was the right home for her and her choice. I have seen it happen so I keep that option open for some time to people we meet here cuz ya never know! |
