She looks just fantastic and yes, she seems to fit in perfectly.
Not surprised no one wants to leave your home. Did I hear you say you were going to adopt me as well?

hlboyz - I am truly touched by this. The fact that you opened up your home to a little girl in need all the way from Mexico and worked your magic with DE and Jen and others to get her to you. And ... the fact that you are such a sap (big smile) that you'll likely keep her (unless the 'perfect' family comes along - um, you're it!) because she's had it so rough....
I don't know - this story just touches me deeply. Please send me Xoli's measurements. I'd like to send her/you two pair of TJammies as a small token of my thanks for all that you do for little rescues, and for what you've done for Xoli. |

Thanks for all the compliments - will be taking her out and about once she is completely healed from her surgery (spay/umbilical hernia) - and getting her socialized. I think it is going to go well now that she has confidence and her human - she is very affectionate. She needs more potty training and some manners around food but she is a smart cookie and will get it in no time. (she loves to snatch food out of your hand - and her tiny teeth are beautiful, but VERY sharp) Yes, another cling-on chow hound. Oh, add in she has a very low prey drive to that low bark - oh yeah - now that is heaven!
DE, that first pic is just a few days after she arrived, I just oiled her  Yep, she arrived just gorgeous - how special is that???? Her angels in mexico did wonders for her. For those who don't know her story, she was apparently passed around and ended up abandoned on the streets, captured (found out it took 3 hours!) in pretty bad shape, and taken to a clinic/pet hotel and nursed back to health. It is so very special to have her arrive like this - I was truly stunned by how pretty she was when I saw her in person.
I love the name Xoli too, but I didn't name her. While it is obvious why they named her that, it is just perfect. I was calling her Angelina Xoli (showlee) in an accented way which turned into Xolina and much of the time is Anxolina....  She loves it.
I think their judgement was spot on to place her with someone with breed experience and with other nekkies. And many thanks to Jen and DE for recommending me. She was so skittish when she came here but once with the others, her tail hasn't stopped wagging. It makes me very happy to see her like this. I know the ladies in cozumel will miss her but only want the best for their special girl.

Her special caretakers in Mexico did do wonders with her.

Oh my! She has the most beautiful, magical eyes I've ever seen, and her skin looks like velvet. I think it's wonderful you've added a girl to the boyz club, and will no doubt have so much fun shopping for girlie things for her, cuz she looks all girl to me!  |

She is 16 inches and 18 lbs (up from 15) and I think 20 would be about right as she needs to fill out and muscle up.
Ha, Cynth - she has her own crystal satin collar (well two as I wasn't sure of the size) and a beautiful harness vest and two new sweaters.... do ya think I wasn't excited to have a girlie? LOL Oh and some of the cutest panties ever - you know for company time. It is supposed to get very chilly this weekend - eeeeeeek, time to dress up! |

| Sure! I just got back from the bayfront park and will put up pics so you can see her vest harness. Well the one she wore today - I found out that the smaller size 3 in another pattern I also bought fits her perfectly.... Oh definitely she will be wearing some new sweaters this weekend as a cold front comes in. I got her solid teal and solid purple - they are just the cheapie ones from Walmart but they should do the trick! The satin collar that is hers is the light blue with lavender crystal or teal with pink crystal "bubblegum" if she grows into it! |
