I have been a hairless crested owner for about 12 years and have never had to deal with this type of skin.

I adopted an unwanted hairless chinese crested chihuahua mix puppy he is about 10 months now and has the most sensitive skin I have ever seen. His skin is super smooth and gets scratches and abrasions very easily. I have tried baths, neosporin, shirts, benadryl, different foods. This time he has these weird circular rashes that appeared all over and seem to be spreading instead of going away.

If anyone has seen anything like this, any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

what a little sweetie  !!!

I am not sure what is going on with his skin...but it looks like exema ?

I would try coconut oil....it was what cleared up my pup's hot spot...and at least it won't hurt him. It is worth a try.

My Jakks has very sensitive skin , too. He seems to always have a scrape or scratch somewhere. I use coconut oil on his skin and give him a bit every day to eat.

Hope this helps.

Keep us posted.

I would, of course, check with a vet first, but if you have already done that, give Famous Skin Care products a try!

They are made just for our Cresteds and I know I would be lost without them. https://famousskincarefordogs.com/
