Hi there. We are expecting to get a CC pup by March. We already have a wonderful 4 year old goldendoodle. She is well behaved and quite possibly the best dog I've had. She is well mannered, quiet, can be trusted off leash... but is timid of strangers and dislikes dogs! Yep..

Don't get me wrong. This dog is not aggressive by any means.. but has 0 interest in playing with other dogs. She will get scared if a dog barks at her while walking. I cannot bring her to the dog park as her idea of fun is hanging out with her humans and play fetch. Running around roughhousing with other dogs is the last thing she wants to do.

I know with gentle introdutcion and supervision she will more then likely make friends with a new dog.. but what I'm worried about is our new puppy learning this type of behavior from our doodle. Im huge on training and want to do my best at socializing my CC. Should I refrain from bringing both dogs out together? Will my CC be able to learn from me and not lose everything I taught it once it's around my other dog?

I'd love to hear from anybody whos been in a similar situation.

Thanks in advance :)
