Hello! I am bringing home a new pup soon, and from the pictures and videos my breeder has posted for me to look at, she has not been taping ears. She told me she was taping about every other day, and that the pups were chewing the tape off each other. The wonderful breeder of my previous cresties (who no longer breeds cresties  :( ) always had photos of her pups with ears taped at a very early age. My pups' ears were nicely up when they came home to me. The new breeder came recommended to me by some other breeders, but I am concerned about my baby's ears! She told me she would show me how to tape them when I pick him up so that I can continue taping. How long does taping need done? I have never done it before. Thanks!

There is a thread here somewhere on taping. I had never done it either, but was successful after following Chelsea's instructions. How long you tape depends on the pup and the thickness of the ears.
