Of course so I could make pjs for my dogs!  It's costing me a small fortune to buy them custom stuff....  Though now I see all the material choices I'm thinking it's going to be a moderate fortune in jammies ;)

My friend taught me how to sew this afternoon, I learned by making something I knew I'd use.... dog pjs :)

Now where do I find a hoodie pattern?  I used Simplicity 3939 for these.  My friend said the t-shirt pattern is much more complicated :(

Eva models the first jammies I've ever made!

excellent. i use 3939 but i shorten the front arms b/c the pattern makes them so long compared to the back legs. I have also had to tweak it for Spike and Ivy. Steve fits in the Large with no tweaking. making a t-shirt is not difficult, just cut the pattern in half and only make the front part. i have a pattern for hoodies but don't remember what it is. i think it was also a simplicity pattern. i combined both and i put Hoods on my jammies now. In spring and fall, mine wear t-shirt jammies. Walmart sells size 4x for around $7. You can get 2 jammies from one 4x t shirt. i also combine different color neck and arms with the t-shirts.

Thanks Colleen!  I'm using 3939 as well.  I've cut the sleeves shorter in the front and they fit perfect, left long in the back.  I did make some hoodies!  I found a simple pattern for a a hood, then added that to the t shirt pattern.

The red and green outfits are Walmart tees!  They are 3 or 4 XL?  but I got two jammies from each and there is left over red.

I've manged to get 7 outfits done!  One more is about 80% done.

My fav so far

I made the belly rib a bit too tight on this one but still cute!  Figuring how much belly rib has been hard for me.

I'm in Ontario, I bought it at Fabricland - Simplicity 3939.  You can probably order from Amazon or something.
