How do these collars not rub their necks? I would love to bling up Miyako's collar but he can wear nothing but fleece lined on his neck, and he only wears a collar when he is outside so his ID tag can hang on it. Jealous!

They only wear collars when we go out, and for pics ;)

The leather is REALLY soft, they also make belts and bracelets for people, they soften and condition it before they make the collar.

I'm not sure if they would rub, I know if Eva wears it for the week or so we are away it thins her crest :( but any collar would do that if left on...  Around the house they only have them put on as we go out the door and I take them off when we come back in the door.  If they travel with me for over nights I take collars off at night.

My cockers are always in an EL collar.  Arson has no issue with the bling.. His issue is seemingly with brass hardwear.  His silver hardwear collar not uber tight is fine.  His brass one.. short periods of time only or he gets a front of neck rub even super lose.

They make lined collars if the spots are potentially an issue.  Can be suede lined, though my only suede lined ones are embroidered collars.
