Hi Everyone! I just put a deposit down on a powderpuff little girl who I will name Lolita! She'll be coming home at 10-12 weeks, she is currently 6 weeks old. Any advice you can give me will be really appreciated! She's my second CC but it's been awhile, I lost my 1st CC, Pinot, in 2008 to a brain aneurysm. Can't wait for Loli to be home!!!!!!!

Congrats! not sure what advice you would need, if you have had CC's before. i say socialize her all the time. bring her everywhere you can while she is young, so she can become a social dog. she is beautiful, but the mods might remove the pics as she is not yet 8 weeks old. there is a rule about that.

She is very cute!  Did you request the breeder to not groom her or tape her ears (Not sure when you start taping, I've only had rescues)?  If you are going to leave her natural, that's fine, but if you want to groom her like a crested, I would start that right away to get her used to it. Also, you are going to want to look into ear taping if you want the prick ears. Some people keep the drop ears on their cresteds, it's a personal preference.

She is very cute! My question is, if a breeder has not been taping ears, at what age is it too late to start? I definitely want my new puff boy to have erect ears, which I told my breeder, but I don't believe she has been taping them.

What a cutie! Eddie's ears were never taped, and they stand just fine.
