This evening I found a lump under Charm's skin, where the neck meets the shoulder.Charm herself does not seem bothered, but Rie and I are obviously very worried. We will be getting her to the vet early next week.

I will be keeping fingers crossed and praying that it's just a fatty cyst or something removable!

Thank you everyone. Certainly we're hoping it can be removed, but sadly I think the chances of it being "non-icky" are very slim.

We had quite a positive vet visit this evening. Rather than ponder whether the lump is malignant or benign, our vet has decided to get rid or the damn thing a.s.a.p.Fortunately we found it early and it hasn't become attached anywhere, so he is hopeful it should come out quite cleanly. We have booked Charm in for surgery on Friday (I have Thursday off work. We planned to take the dogs out for a picnic, and the vet suggested we stick with that plan)Thank you all for your support, it really has helped.
